The qualification of dilute chemical processes for PWR full reactor coolant system decontamination
Description
The nuclear industry is qualifying chemical processes for the decontamination of complete PWR reactor coolant systems. This report summarizes an extensive evaluation which concludes that full-system decontamination (FSD) offers several economic and operational advantages compared with current part-system applications. In addition, the evaluation showed that FSD has no significant adverse impact on materials integrity
