A high-Rydberg atom as a possible spectroscopic probe to resonances in elastic scattering of an ultra-low-energy electron by a molecule
Description
A method is investigated to obtain knowledge of resonances in ultra-low-energy electron-molecule scattering from the pressure shift and width of high-Rydberg series perturbed by a molecule. The limit of applicability of this approach is discussed. (author)
