Description

'Towards the Next Generation of Simulation Tools' was the theme of the 23rd CNS Nuclear Simulation Symposium, held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on November 2-4, 2008. The scope of the Symposium covered all aspects of nuclear modelling and simulation, including, but not limited to: Reactor Physics; Thermalhydraulics; Safety Analysis; Fuel and Fuel Channels; Computer Codes; and Modelling. Approximately 70 participants attended despite the specialized topic of the meeting. Over thirty papers were presented in the following sessions: Plenary; Reactor Physics; Computer Codes and Modelling; and Thermalhydraulics
