Centers of trapping and recombination in boron pyronitride

Description
Energy and kinetic parameters of capture and recombination centers in pyrolytic boron nitride are investigated using fractional thermoluminescence and thermostimulated current methods. Three types of monoenergy traps with 0.55; 0.85 and 1.05 eV energies are detected at the background of quasicontinuous distribution of additional levels. Based on measuring the charge carrier sign, X-ray stimulated luminesacence and TSL spectra recombination process a scheme is composed. Correlation of activation energies, frequency factors and luminescence and conductivity distribution confirmed the electron-hole character of electric transfer with the primary hole contribution
