Description
DF-ODMR signals (zero-field magnetic resonance detected by delayed fluorescence) of metastable triplet excitons in the 1:1 CT crystal anthracene/tetracyanobenzene are doublets with a splitting of 10 MHz. This structure is a consequence of Davydov splitting due to interchain exchange Jsub(b). The best fit gives Jsub(b) = 0.011 cm-1 and exciton zero-field splittings D = 2019.5, E = -248 MHz. (orig.)
