Technological system for reception and storage of liquid radioactive concentrated wastes and spent sorbents for the finnish nuclear power plant Loviisa and serial nuclear power plant blocks with WWR-440 type reactors (system TW)

Technological system for reception and storage of concentrated liquid radioactive wastes from nuclear power plant is described. The system includes: subsystem for purification of the primary coolant circuit water; subsystem for processing of drained coolant; subsystem for trapped waters processing; subsystem for processing of boron containing solutions; subsystem for purification of water from storage and reloading pools; subsystem for purification of scavenging water from steam generators; special sewage subsystem; decontamination subsystem; subsystem for liquid wastes storage; subsystem for gases processing and subsystem for radioactive wastes solidification. Parameters are given for equipment used and wastes coming into the system. Water and chemical conditions for liquid radioactive wastes storage are concidered. (I.T.)
