Description
Hierarchic categories of settlements were assessed by the method of multi-parameter analysis applying the complex functional size index for 1981, and by up-dating the data corresponding to the 1991 - 1999 period. The hierarchy of the contemporary and future systems of towns of Slovakia was processed by the W. Christaller's hierarchy. (authors)
