Device for radioactivity logging

Description
A new radioactive well logging device with a neutron source is proposed. An electric motor is used to enable measuring the distance between the neutron source and the torpedo receiver without withdrawing the torpedo to the surface. The device involves no danger of the personnel being exposed to irradiation, and the efficiency of logging is substantially improved owing to the time saving factor ensured by eliminating superfluous operations
