Intratrack radiolytical processes modelling in magnesium chloride concentrated aqueous solutions

Description
The formation of a trace during deceleration of an electron with 1 MeV initial energy in a concentrated water solution of magnesium chloride (5 mol/l) is simulated by the Monte Carlo method. The dynamics of spatial distribution of primary radiolysis products and inhomogeneous kinetics of intratrack chemical reactions are calculated. 19 levels of ionization are taken into account as well as the formation of 5 singletly excited states of water and collective plasmon-type excitations at the physical stage. Initial yields of electron activations, ion and radical pairs, initial energy distribution of non-excitation electrons are estimated
