Periodical waves in a collisionless plasma

Description
The fundamentals of physics of periodic waves in a plasma are set forth. Approximation of a collisionless plasma is applied. The effects associated with the plasma kinetics: Landau damping, Van-Kampen waves, Bernstein modes, brightening of plasma wave barriers by resonance particles, non-local reflection of waves from wave barriers, ballistic transformation of waves are considered in the analysis of linear equations. Results of the non-linear theory are presented. Echo in plasma, Bernstein-Green-Kruskal waves are studied. Results of the investigation into linear oscillations of a magnetoactive plasma are given
