Radiation protection during the decommissioning of Jose Cabrera

Description
The decommissioning of nuclear facilities, as an activity dealing with ionizing radiations, has to follow to the usual generic criteria for the health protection. The ultimate aim of radiation protection during the decommissioning of a facility is not different from the one pursued during the operational period of such a facility. It presents, nevertheless, some new and specific aspects that are worth considering. The article analyzes, from the regulatory point of view, some of these new radiation. (Author)
