Study on the pump feed method in 10 MW HTGR

Description
This article examines the advantages and the disadvantages of pump feed method, pressure feed method and spiral staff feed method, when they are applied to the fuel handling system of HTR. It inquires into the principle of pump feed method, and develops full scale simulating test facility. The results indicate that the facility can be applied to the fuel feed system of the pebble bed HTR. It has the features of reliable operation, convenient maintenance and efficient feed
