Description
The V2O5 melt conductivity is measured. It has been found that at T > or approx. 1020 K the temperature dependence of specific conductivity has activation character. At T < or approx. 1020 K the deviation from a purely activation character of conductivity occurs. It is shown that the disordering of vanadium (5) oxide melt in the vicinity of the melting point most probably occurs by electron transfer from O2- ions by V5+ ion with formation of V4+, O1- ions and atomic oxygen
