The theoretical and methodological problems of using radionuclides neutron sources in nuclear analytics. Part 1
Description
The investigation of physical peculiarities of neutron activation analysis of heavy-weight samples was carried out for two types of irradiation: for single and group one. The factors influenced on accuracy are revealed and methods and ways of its calculation were elaborated. In the first part of the paper the investigation of the problem of radiation position calibration are described. The effect of position coefficients differentiation for different nuclides was substantiated and the method for its determination was elaborated. The form of resonant neutrons spectrum and its influence on the results of analysis are discussed. The optimal basis nuclide is substantiated. (author). 22 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
