Disturbance of iodine absorption and iodization caused by thyrostatic medication

A reversibly decreased iodine absorption was observed in a patient with Graves' disease. This was associated with a reversible interference of iodization and was probably caused by thyrostatic medication. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird ueber einen Fall von reversibel gestoerter Jodresorption berichtet. Ursache war offenbar eine thyreostatische Medikation bei M. Basedow. Gleichzeitig war eine reversible Jodisationsstoerung nachweisbar. (orig.)
