Physicochemical properties of ZrO2 solid electrolytes partially stabilized with Y2O3-Yb2O3-Sc2O3 mixture
Description
Physicochemical properties of zirconium dioxide, containing 4% Y2O3+Yb2O3+Sc2O3 mixture were considered to use this material for manufacture of solid electrolytes, characterized by higher thermomechanical properties, as compared to electrolytes, based on cubic zirconium dioxide. It is shown that analyzed solid electrolytes can be used under conditions of enchanced vibrations and cyclic thermal loadings for measuring oxygen content in gaseous media. Application of these electrolytes during long-term isothermal holdings and in water-containing media, is not recommended
