Since high-Tc superconducting YBa2Cu3O7-x was discovered by Wu et al. much effort has been devoted to the determination of associated phases by X-ray diffraction (XRD). In this paper, the formation process of high-Tc superconducting YBa2Cu3O7-x has been studied by X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis (DTA), and the measurement of electrical resistivity during firing
