On formation of uraniferous apatite bodies and their relation ships with dykes

Description

Pecutiarities of formation of ore bodies of uraniferous apatites and their relationship with dykes are considered. Results of observations during many years over one of the objects showed, that uranium-apatite bodies were of postdyke age. Ore body formation is related to unified hydrothermal process, which took place during considerably short period of time. Only two stages of mineralization are distinctly distinguished in uranium-apatite deposits. Uraniferous fluorapatite, albite, calcite, chlorite, accompanied by phosphorus and uranium with infroduction of Th, TR, Sr, Zr and Be eie-- ments-aJmixtures Jeveloped at the first atage. Rose calcite along the cracks developed at the second post-ore stage. The deposition of overhetming mass of the basic ore mineral-uraniferous apatite - and formation of zones of wallrock metasomatosas are ciosely associated in time and proceed at th same stage of mineratization; it is the characteristic feature of uranium-apatite deposits. Limestones are more favourable for the development of uranium-apatite mineralization, than alumosilicate rocks
