Phase of composition YBaLaCu2SnO8 containing tin atoms in Cu(1) positions

Description
The phase of the YBaLaCu2SnO8 composition having tetragonal lattice with the parameters a = b = 0.4170(3), c = 1.2592(8) nm is prepared from yttrium, lanthanum, barium and copper nitrates and freshly-precipitated tin hydroxide at 880 Deg C in flow of oxygen and pressure of 200 kPa. From the data of volumetric analysis the oxygen index is equal to 7.96. On the basis of Moessbauer effect spectra on the 119Sn nuclei the conclusion was made that 90 % of tin atoms in the Sn4+ form hold Cu(1) positions and have a octahedron coordination, and 10 % of Sn4+ ions have a tetragonal-pyramidal coordination and hold Cu(1) and Cu(2) positions. Synthesized phase evidently has a structure near YBa2{Cu1.952+Sn0.054+}[Sn0.9+0.054+Cu0.05+]O7.94

Из нитратов иттрия, лантана, бария и меди и свежеосажденного гидроксида олова при 880 град С в токе кислорода при давлении 200 кПа получена фаза состава YBaLaCu2SnO8, имеющая тетрагональную структуру с параметрами кристаллической ячейки a = b = 0.4170(3), c = 1.2592(8) нм. По данным волюмометрического анализа, индекс по кислороду равен 7.96. На основании данных гамма резонансных спектров на ядрах 119Sn сделан вывод, что 90 % атомов олова в форме Sn4+ занимают позиции Cu(1) и имеют октаэдрическую координацию, а 10 % ионов Sn4+ имеют тетрагонально-пирамидальную координацию и занимают позиции Cu(1) и Cu(2). Синтезированная фаза, по-видимому, имеет структуру, близкую к YBa2{Cu1.952+Sn0.054+}[Sn0.9+0.054+Cu0.05+]O7.94Additional details
