X-ray fluorescence spectrometry: a robust technique for analyzing radioactive waste and waste

Description
The objective of this work was to establish a non-destructive methodology, with a fast and reliable response, low cost, minimal handling and without the need for previous chemical treatments, to identify and quantify the uranium content in unknown samples using the Fundamental Parameters Method. Thus, contributing to the areas of safeguarding, waste management and radioactive waste and ensuring information on the composition of the material, in relation to the uranium content
