Description

This paper reports on a preliminary measurement of the polarization of the Ω- and Ξ- hyperons inclusively produced by 800 GeV protons that have been made. A non-zero Ξ- polarization has been measured while the Ω-'s do not appear to be polarized. Also, there are indications that Ξ- polarization is smaller in magnitude than Ξ0 polarization
