Influence of non-uniform toroidal magnetic field on plasma equilibria
Description
A problem of magnetic surface deformation caused by inhomogeneity of the toroidal magnetic field in a toroidal magnetic system is discussed. Free boundary equilibrium solutions are obtained for both the surface current and body current distributions. In particular, the expressions of the deformation caused by the inhomogeneity are given in dependence on some parameters
