Heat networks. 2015-2030: 15 years to mobilise 10 billions euros of investments in infrastructures and to reach France's objectives

Description

This study first states a set of ten recommendations to reach French objectives regarding the multiplication by a factor 5 of the quantity of renewable and recovery energies by 2030. These recommendations concern the mobilisation of 10 billions euros of investments in infrastructures, the giving up of barriers related to the competition of gas and electric power and to requirements of energy efficiency, to favour the integration of sources of renewable and recovery energies and to promote smart grids, to legitimate heat networks and to improve their knowledge. Then, the different chapters describe, analyse and comment the progress of heat networks in Europe, the participation of France to the European dynamics by betting on renewable and recovery energies, the perspectives and challenges of development for France by 2030. Levers of action for French challenges are finally identified.
