Description
In experiments on the interaction of heavy-current relativistic electron beams with plasma with the aim to study the possibility of its heating at the expense of collective processes the problem of the type of oscillations excited by the beam in plasma is the most important one from the physical viewpoint. It is shown that in the process of interaction of heavy-current relativistic electron beam with plasma the Langmuir turbulence is excited. Narrow-band gas filter, absorbing CO2 laser radiation in R14 transition permitted to use the method of scattering for turbulence study
