CTDI of Wide Beam Collimation Diagnostic CBCT

  • 1. Tartu University Hospital, L. Puusepa 8, Tartu (Estonia)

Description

CTDI is a useful tool for assessing dose reference levels and for comparisons between different protocols and equipment. In CBCT, beam collimations often exceed the traditional dose profile integrating length of 100 mm and additional equipment is needed. IAEA has proposed a method for CTDI estimation for wide beam collimation CBCT equipment using standard equipment.
