Description

Crystalline samples of AgInTeB2 have been using the Bridgemann technique. All samples were ''n'' type. The far infrared reflectivity measurements were performed and an ionic resonance was observed. The experimental data were analysed using both Kramers-Kronig integration and computer curve fitting procedures and the following parameters have been obtained: the dielectric constants at high and low frequencies (epsilonsub(xx)=9.84 and epsilon0=11.97 respectively); the transverse and longitudinal optical phonon frequencies ωsub(TO)=168 cm-1 and ωsub(LO)=184 cm-1 the phonon damping constant γ=4.13 cm-1 and the oscillator strength S=2.13
