Small data acquisition and processing system (DAPS)
Description
The on-line system at the Yerevan Electron Synchrotron comprises PDP-9 and PDP-8/e computers and was devised and used for the acquisition and preprocessing of experimental data and the measurement of track chamber films. In this system PDP-8/e serves as both the front-end processor and the buffer data storage between the system and the users or larger computers. A functional diagram of the system is given and the software is described. (Auth.)
