A new configuration of a recirculating machine. The two way linac scheme

- 2. Institut des Sciences Nucleaires, Univ. Joseph Fourier, 38 - Grenoble (France)
Description
Using the linac both ways in a recirculating accelerator presents interesting features of some simplification in the beam transfer system and a reduction of its length by a factor of about 2. Beam-beam interaction is found to be negligible when Ibeam ≅ 100 or 200 μA. (orig.)
