Investigation of plasma turbutence by the Raman scattering technique
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Fizicheskij Inst.
Description
The method of combination scattering of probing radiation is employed for the first time to investigate a laser plasma in the region of the critical nsub(c) and a quarter critical nsub(c)/4 density for the heating radiation of an Nd-laser (nsub(c) approximately equal to 1021 cm-3). The nonlinear processes developing in these regions are identified by studying the scattering spectra of the probing and heating radiations. The spectral energy distribution of the plasma waves formed during two-plasmon decay instability is also obtained
