Description
The x-ray crystal structure of 1,10-diazonia-18-crown-6 bis(dihydrogen phosphate) (I) dihydrate was determined: [H2ΠA18K6]2+·2H2PO4·2H2O; sp. gr. P21/n; a=8.085(1), b=11.065(1), c=13.015(1) A; β=101.63(1) deg., Z=2; and R=0.047 for 2113 unique reflections with I≥2σ(I). In the crystal state, I has a complex supermolecular structure formed by infinite chains of hydrogen-bonded H2PO4 anions, and DA18C6 dications with two 'guest' solvation-water molecules located among the chains and hydrogen-bonded to these chains
