Description

The possibility is discussed of designing a high-current magnetic discharge mass spectrometer of a new type in which ions with the given mass are separated by the resonance technique directly in the Penning discharge. The mass spectra of a residual gas within the mass number range of 2 to 44 are obtained on the experimental device with resolution of about 50
