The following topics were dealt with: high-temperature superconductor crystal growth, comparison of the the system Pb-Sr-A-Cu-O with other high-temperature superconductors, structural determination of crystalline systems using X-ray diffraction - theory and methods, crystal growth of the system Pb2Sr2Y1-xCaxCu3O8+y, observation of a quasi-hexagonal phase, evaluation of the reached crystal quality, investigation of the structure and the structural changes in the system Pb-Sr-(Y,Ca)-Cu-O, investigation of the homogeneity and anisotropy at the crystal surface using microwave absorption, additional studies on crystals of the PSYCCO system
