Description
A modified algorithm is used for the ΔE-E detector telescope providing a simple and fast means of particle identification. Its application to heavy-ion reactions is demonstrated by an example in which all nuclei up to sodium isotopes are well separated in the range of from 10 MeV to more than 260 MeV. (Auth.)
