The two days of review papers and of poster presentations of recent research results at the International Conference on Positron Scattering and Annihilation in Gases, York University, 10 and 11 July 1981, were concluded by a discussion during which panelists, and participants from the floor, gave their views on important and likely directions of positron-gas research
