Description

In a collaborative work between the National Cancer Institute (INCA), the Centre of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging of the University Hospital (CMNIM), the Uruguayan Centre for Molecular Imaging (CUDIM) and the Faculty of Chemistry, Uruguay introduced in 2017 peptide receptor radiotherapy (PRRT) with both 177Lu-DOTATATE and 177Lu-PSMA. In this work, the quantification of planar images was chosen to establish the biokinetic profile over time and the data set was complemented with blood samples. The calculations were made based on the MIRD methodology and the tool to estimate the doses was the OLINDA / EXM code.
