Process device for carrying out endothermic high-temperature reactions

Description
With the devices for carrying out endothermic reactions with the aid of hot gas supplied by a high-temperature reactor, there will arise diffculties in distributing the large amounts of heat uniformly over the reaction zones. It is now proposed to install heating gas pipes in the borings of the walls of the reaction pipes containing the catalyst. The supply of heating gas is provided by means of plastic connecting pieces which are sealing weel but are easy to change, too. The invention is described by the example of a re-forming process of methane and steam in order to obtain hydrogen. (UWI)

Bei den Einrichtungen zur Durchfuehrung von endothermen Reaktionen mit Hilfe von Heissgas, das von einem Hochtemperatur-Reaktor geliefert wird, ergeben sich Schwierigkeiten, die grossen Waermemengen gleichmaessig auf die Reaktionszonen zu verteilen. Es wird nun vorgeschlagen, Heizgasleitungen in den Bohrungen der Wandungen der den Katalysator enthaltenden Reaktionsrohre anzubringen. Die Heizgaszufuehrung ist ueber verformbare Verbindungsstuecke vorgesehen, die gut abdichten, aber auch leicht auswechselbar sind. Die Erfindung wird am Beispiel eines Reformierprozesses von Methan und Dampf zur Gewinnung von Wasserstoff beschrieben. (UWI)Files
