The Hall effect and conductivity of Cdsub(x)Hgsub(1-x)Te crystals

Description
The temperature dependences (T=80-300 K) of the μsub(H) Hall mobility and Rsub(H) Hall constant (in the magnetic field range of 0.1-10 kOe) in Cdsub(x)Hgsub(1-x)Te crystals (x approximately 0.19-0.22) with n-type, mixed and p-type conductivity as well as in homogeneous crystals with fluctuations of the σ conductivity and extractions of the second phase, are studied. It is assumed that in the homogeneous crystals μsub(H) and specificity of its temperature dependence are defined by the presence of inhomogeneities of different types
