Method to calculate the eigen electromagnetic fields in arbitrary shape caVities
Description
The paper presents a method, proposed for calculation of eigen frequencies and electromagnetic fields in cavities of an arbitrary shape. Approximation of equations for numeric solution of the problem is realized by the finite element method. Field components in local orthogonal coordinate system are used as independent variables. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated on the example of calculation of the nonsymmetric modes in axial symmetric cavities
