Description

We review data from cosmic ray exposures of emulsion chambers within the context of present theoretical biases. We emphasize their possible relevance to such topical subjects as 1) high p(trans) phenomena 2) long-lived particles (charm, weak boson W, etc.); 3) strong interaction asymptopia, multiplicities of secondaries. The data strongly suggest a threshold for completely novel phenomena around 100 TeV. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

(orig.)
