Description
Spectral composition of lyolumeniscence, photo- and thermally induced luminescence of irradiated (γ-radiation, absorbed dose rate is 1.5 Gy/s) of alkali metals sulfates has been studied. It is shown that irrespectively of the type of luminescence for lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium and cesium sulfates, the luminescence maximum was in the range of 240-520 nm. Possible light emitters have been considered, sulfate-ion in excited a3B1-state being the most probable one. 12 refs., 4 figs., 1 tab
