Description

Experiments to investigate micro-second isomers would uniquely utilize the combination of the resolving power of the array as well as the sensitivity of the HIRA at NSC, New Delhi. Such micro-second isomers have been reported at moderate spins in the vicinity of the N ∼50 shell closure. It is of significant interest to identify new isomers in these nuclei both at moderate and high spins. In this work, the lifetime of the micro-second isomer has been confirmed from the decay of the negative parity states below the isomer
