WKB calculation of neutrino matter oscillations
Description
The WKB method is used to obtain the neutrino transition (oscillation) amplitude in matter. The first two terms in our expansion correspond to neutrino adiabatic propagation, while the third term contains nonadiabatic corrections. As an application we consider the case of linear matter density and we compare the results with the available exact solution. (orig.)
