Process for separation of plutonium from uranium or a transuranic element
Description
The separation takes place in counter- or cross-flow ion drift processes in the presence of a complex-forming agent. Aqueous and substituting carboxylic acid solution, a fluoride chelate-forming substance, nitrate, sulphate or phosphate are suitable as complex forming agents. Particularly good results are achieved by the use of acetic acid or a mixture of alkali fluoride and hydrofluoric acid. (DG)

Die Trennung erfolgt im Gegen- oder Querstrom-Ionenwanderungsverfahren in Gegenwart eines Komplexbildners. Als Komplexbildner eignet sich eine wasserloesliche und substituierte Carbonsaeure, Fluoride, Chelatbildner, Nitrat, Sulfat oder Phosphat. Besonders gute Ergebnisse werden unter Verwendung von Essigsaeure oder einem Gemisch von Alkalifluorid und Flussaeure erzielt. (DG)Files
