DELPCO - A Computer Programme for Calculation of Reactor Pressure Drop
Description
The need to establish as nearly as possible identical pressure drops when using the thermal codes for individual fuel elements (COCSIX and TAPIR) and when calculating the whole core pressure drop has led to a number of modifications to existing pressure drop codes (DELTAP and DELTP1) such as to warrant the formulation of a new code DELPCO. This code takes into account pressure drops at mixed inlet and exit to any group of channels and also the difference between gas exit-temperatures of the several channels which constitute a whole reactor core. All the improvements to DELTAP already embodied in DELTPI have been incorporated in the new code DELPCO. (author)
