Description
At the 'Support of Nuclear Power. R.A.A.N. Conference', held at Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania, on 6-8 Sep 2002, a number of 44 communications were given. Mainly, the following issues were addressed: Nuclear power in the world and major changes in the energy policy; Nuclear power based on CANDU type reactors in Romania; Heavy water, nuclear fuel and equipment production for Cernavoda NPP; Radioactive waste management; Tritium and other materials recovery; Advances in isotopic separation technologies and applications; Environment protection. Poster and oral communications were presented in three dedicated sections
