Description

The main pathways of radionuclides in the human body are inhalation and ingestion through food and drinking water. This paper provides the data of activity for two important radionuclides 137 Cs and 90 Sr in the soil, food and drinking water and effective doses due to food and drinking water consumption. The effective dose due to 137 Cs and 90 Sr activity were decreasing during 1986 to 1994, for the population in the Republic of Serbia. 6 refs.; 2 figs.; 4 tabs
