The Snoek relaxation in Nb-V-N alloys

Description
Values of δ logarithmical decrement in Nb-V-N alloys containing 0-50 at.% of vanadium are obtained using inverse pendulum technique within 3-8 Hz frequencies and 20-900 deg C range. Complex curves of δ are divided by means of computer into the constituent elementary peaks. The obtained data are used to determine bond energy for vanadium and nitrogen atoms contained in different complexes and alloys of niobium. 12 refs., 4 figs., 5 tabs
