The special low temperature vacuum problems of a 6T superconducting wiggler
Description
The low temperature and magnet systems of a 6T superconducting Wiggler and HLS storage ring induce special vacuum problems of the Wiggler. Two LHe tanks are made for the alignment of the magnet and the extension of a period of refilling the LHe tanks. A low temperature beam pipe is adopted to reduce the gap of the magnet. The beam pipe can be baked directly passing a AC current through it using special construction and material. It is easy and accurate to adjust the relationship between the beam pipe and the magnet
