Calculation of control rod worth with mutual interaction

Description
This work presents a two-dimensional model for determining the total worth of a set of N absorbing rods. The model simplifies the evaluation of the interaction coefficient among rods by analysing them in pairs and attributes to it a purely geometrical character. Comparisons with conventional calculational methods indicate that the results are in error by less than 6%. (author)

Desenvolveu-se um modelo bidimensional para determinacao da eficiencia total de um conjunto de N barras absorvedoras. O modelo simplifica a avaliacao do coeficiente de interacao entre barras considerando-as par a par e atribui-lhe um carater puramente geometrico.
