Ion distribution during turbulent heating of a weakly ionized plasma

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (USSR). Fizicheskij Inst.

Description

Quasistationary ion distribution in weakly ionized plasma with a developed ion-sound turbulence detected due to the scattering processes on ionic sound pulsations and resonance recharging, is found. It is shown that the bulk of thermal particles is distributed by the degree law and the distribution of superthermal ions is characterized by the exponential fall of the distribution function
